Hi I'm hoping someone can help this first time caravanner.I took my Sterling Cruach Cuilin caravan out for the easter weekend and found that I had a problem getting water through to the taps in the kitchen. I was getting water through the bathroom taps, the only way I was getting water through the kitchen taps was, if I turned on the bathroom taps first then the water would run slowly from the kitchen sink.Could it be that there was an air blockage somewhere.I found that outside there was water leeking I tightened the screws up and it stopped slightly. Can anyone give me advice on refilling the system as I am hoping to take it out this weekend.

Regards Helen

the tap in the kitchen has a faulty micro switch, the reason it works when the bathroom is used is because you start the pump with the bathroom tap.so you need a new switch fitted.

Hi michael,

Thankyou for your Reply about my kitchen tap.I will replace the micro switch,I had it out again at weekend and same again but I am getting some water through on the hot tap but it slowly stops. But the cold water I have to switch on bathroom tap. So I will do as you say replace the micro switch, is this a big job or can we do it ourselfs.Do we have to replace both taps or just the one.?

Thanks Again

The anderson Trio.

If it's a mixer then I would assume each tap has a microswitch. Switch is situated just above T-piece, unscrew the 3 screws

Hi Custer,

Thankyou for your reply.

Got new microswitch today, you say that I have to unscrew the 3 screws, will I find the switch inside.?

While i'm on has anyone ever bought a Sunncamp Platinum Ultimo 260Awning???

I am thinking of buying one but not sure of the size for caravan I have a Sterling Cruach Cullin 2003 model .I measured the sides at the shortest bit to be 6ft 1inch x6ft 5inch from centre point but I didn't measure to ground.Width from side window to back end is 11ft 10inch.I don't want to cover the side window.I've only measure to bottom of cvan.

Sorry I don't know metric size. The size of the awning fits cvan height 230-245cm.

Would this awning fit my cvan.???? Can anyone help?
