Hi thanks for that, there is a problem with the axle and i think it is what you describe. Our caravan is used several times a years towed from home to sites so it hasn't been left stationary. I'm getting the feeling there is a problem with hte size or axle/wheels Lunar have used.... from the research i'm doing.

Our caravan was out of warrenty but Lunar still carried out the upgrade. It has all been completed now but the only problem is we have been left with no alloy wheels as they don't make 13" 5 stud alloy's for caravans! You would of thought Lunar would have know this when changing the axle!!!! Oh well to be honest I am looking to upgrade now so have gone past worrying.

Other than this fault our Lunar Clubman has been fantastic & it wouldn't put me off buying another.

My van is a Lunar Clubman 2004. To be honest I didn't have any contact with Lunar directly. The dealer who we bought the van from did this for us as they are a Lunar dealership. It was sorted out within a few months of us telling the dealer the problem. Which I think in caravan repair world is fairly quick!! Like you I quoted sale of goods act 'Not fit for purpose'  to the dealer & they sorted it out for us. We did have to chase a little bit but it was all sorted out.  I must say though that the dealer had come across this problem before wnich does make you wonder!!!

Thanks very much for this. The dealership where we bought ours no longer exists so we are dealing direct with Lunar. The dealer we have gone to for the work has also heard of it before. In fact when we have rung around to check the problem out the first question has on more than one occasion been "It's not a Lunar is it".

Amazing our vans are the same year. Your comments have been very useful thank you. I'll carry on pursuing.... just thinking how long it might take and how much of the season we may miss.
