Nothing Broken here chaps the chassis is spotless.

Its an optique illusion , the arm is around 7 inches from the ground and the caravan is up on its jacks.

Ive spoken to Alko and it is an Alko chassis.

ps its the same both sides.

never seen the like of the picture.could it be a stand for when the tyre has a puncture????

No Michael it is the bar that the damper attaches to - one end goes on the tip of the bar, the other end bolts through one of the three holes you can see in the chassis.

Perhaps the OP can post a pic once he has fitted the damper to show you
