Just a small point that could become a larger unwanted one. IF you run the EHU through the window make sure caravan is always on view as if it is seen by these mongrels who just drive around waiting for the off chance of pinching anything and they see your window open your insurance will be invalid as they will always say it was your fauly for everything. I was guided not to do this when I first found this site as it was one of my first Q's and that was under a full winter cover. So I heeded that as it was not going to be on view ALL the time even if it is over our son & daughter in laws home. They are not there ALL the time will you be.???

You can have a purpose made external socket fitted to your house for around £40 + labour, they have a weatherproof cover for when not in use just like a hook up socket on site, its just a case of buying the standard three pin adapter and plugging in then.
