ooohhh after finding something suitable, I had a closer look at the catches, and I need to put the spacer on the window handle, not the catch, as this is horizontal to the window, so wouldn't work. It would move the catch up, but not out, if you see what I mean.
Also not sure if this is necessary at all, as I discovered that the window had slid out of place so I slid it back into position and secured it, and it seems ok at one side. The drive/caravan isn't level, so it could just be that.
I will have to see what's what next year when I get it out again. I've put the cover on now!
