I still can't see any reason for not simply using plain water in the flush tank. Maybe its a psychological thing with people wanting to see coloured water in the toilet flush. Still if it makes people feel better its their money to flush down the toilet.
Maybe they want to mask the niff.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
In our camper van the flush works off the main onboard cold water tank so we can't add anything and we don't have any problems. The holding tank gets a dash of green bio or Biomagic stuff which deals with any 'whiffs'. I think basically the top tank stuff is just psychological.
If you do want to disinfect after use then a spray bottle with water and a drop of green stuff works well and is very economical.
The green chemicals are also better for the environment plus they don't affect septic tanks so you can empty down a normal loo rather than having to seek out a chemical disposal point if necessary.
PS before anyone says anything the loos in caravans and campervans/motorhomes are basically the same.
Mine flushes off the fresh water tank too so I use a spray can with some diluted pink stuff. I prefer that inside the van. I feel the green or blue are for the waste tank.
