The mobile service engineer who carried out the service on my van and fitted new brake cables and replaced the single use nuts after moving brake drums cleaning and inspecting brake shoes etc (Only one brake cable was duff but I insisted both were renewed) After all work was completed he hitched up and towed van down our back lane and slammed on brakes 25/30 mph. the van braked dead in line no skid to left or right . I was very happy with this as I have now sold the van to a very happy buyer, and I know that I have sold the van with no damp fully habital and fully road worthy( and safe tyres & valves) [read Threads on this web site] So I hope The Buyer gets as much enjoyment out of Bertha as the wife and I did ( wifes name for are van) she is still thinking about our new van hasn,t come up with one yet.
