Hi All, i have damp wood in rear corner of van below the toilet, i resealed the bottom awning rail as per guidelines on here but struggled to get real purchase on the rail screws due to wood quality, i injected wood hardener in and plugged the holes but didnt get fully tight, this is why im sure that the rail is the problem. i would like to know is it possible to replace a section of the ply under the van? if so any advice? by doing this it will give me good ply to screw the nails into when refitting the rail. i have successfully resealed awning rails on this van and my previous van. i was thinking of taking a piece out maybe 2 feet by 6 inches and bonding it to the internal layer coating and sealing it then refitting the rail. cheers

Hi, I am currently in the process of replacing a section of flooring by the door as it was completely rotten.
I cut the top and bottom sections of plywood floor out, reinforced it with a frame and braces underneath. Bolted this to the chassis and the side of the van will fix back into the new solid wood.
Pictures for info.

hi Kj great pictures, i was thinking along similar lines but hadnt decided what to do, i really think i have a water ingress issue and need find where from before proceeding any further. I think i need to remove the shower cubicle to look behind, a bit concerned right now as i cant work out how the shower cubicle comes out.

Alko specifically advise against drilling holes in the chassis?
