Gutted for you....😱. I think we where so close to the solution.
Please let us know what the outcome is.....Problem was when its sorted.👍

From what I found on the Net....Some of those control panels..(as your pic). have to be removed and the fuses are built into the rear! maybe that's where yours are?

the switches can also fail.. my van has a three position switch on its control panel.. .. car van and off in the middle..

at the back of the the control panel is where i would be looking..

I see your pic shows a switch marked car/van. Is this switch in the correct position?

There could be a line fuse in the output from the battery which has failed.
Normally tucked away in the loom somewhere.
The voltmeter is showing 12v but is probably reading the battery terminal voltage.
We had an Abbey GTs which lost 12v, there was a line fuse hidden away under a wooden cover which had blown!
Nowhere near main fuses.

It was shown on the circuit diagram,which is a schematic, with its actual location not given.
I am an ex RAF avionics tech so can fault find. It took a while with a multimeter to find it.
It was henceforth known as the " Secret Abbey Fuse"
We did amend the book stating its location.

is there a ''slow blow'' fuse within the charger / 12 v unit ?

The caravan is not connected to the mains so the charger is off. With car/caravan set to caravan 12v supply should be ok as voltmeter shows green.
This tends to point to a fuse on the 12v output side or a connection off.
Please check the battery connections are clean and tight, probably are.

looking at that panel pic.. the voltmeter part is well into the green.. that shows the charger is working.. power is getting from a fully charged battery up to the control panel..

my panel has several on/off switches for various parts of the 12 volt system the panel in the pic only has one labeled AUX..

the car van switches are input switches power to the panel.. the switch mark AUX is an output switch power from the panel..

the place to start is that AUX switch make sure its working and there is power on both sides of the switch.. to my mind that AUX switch and the wire coming from it is the only thing that could kill the entire vans 12 volt system..

check for dirty connections and a faulty switch..

Well we’re part of the way there. I had an engineer look at it. He squeezed us in to try and resolve before we went away but only had time to look at electric for us. The electric problem is actually a problem with the battery connectors which he has now replaced.All lights working correctly and on board charger appears to be holding charge in the battery. My water is still absolutely dead. So next solution is to see if I can find someone with the same pump so we can test that. If not then it’s a job for winter and we’ll manage with the jerrycan for now
