I've used Fenwicks since we bought our van at 6 months old, 6 years ago.
The "top coat" on the glass fibre front panels is showing hairline crack, and the surface has become porous: it won't polish and it absorbs any oily/greasy dirt.
HOWEVER the rear of the caravan has suffered no deterioration at all. It has been cleaned with the same frequency and ferocity as the front.
I reckon it was a faulty batch of glass fibre panel. I don't think it has anything to do with Fenwicks. I have no connection with Fenwicks, but if they want to send me a box of caravan cleanerI'll happily use, and not on my bike.
I believe 3M do a glass fibre product for yachts to reseal and renovate my front panel.

Try AutoGlym Motorhome and Caravan cleaner. My mate tried it on his awning and found no deterioration of the waterproffing. Its alos great for Carpet stains (!) Upholstery, aswell as motorhomes and caravans. I have no lien or allegiance, it just lives inthe front locker 'cos it doesall sorts of stuff!!
Iain---- you posted this rubbish---- you certainly now your stuff---omf

In the absence of any replies to your question about getting rid of the green gunk
try using a traffic film remover, draper do one in litre bottles, dilute it 25/75 with water
then spray on the affected area,s leave for no more than 5 minutes then work it in with a brush, rinse off very thoroughly, then use a top quality caravan cleaner like
Fenwicks and finally rinse with bobby dazzler as directed this will solve your problem
Ps. wear rubber gloves when using T.F.R. after this treatment it should not be necesary to use T.F.R again unless heavily soiled.
Hope this helps you.Jim.(ex caravan valeter.)
