Having followed this and a couple of other posts by the OP from what I gather the water tank is now out of the caravan and the question is or the questions are: can I fit a water boiler which only runs off electric and not gas and where do the pipes go, or have I missed something. Great detailed post by arc systems and lots and of info in other posts but it all seems to be going round in circles. From what I can gather and I am not an expert this was a non return valve problem as identified about a week ago maybe! Or maybe it wasn't. I think the posts about the taps being opened closed it for me so to speak 😎😎
If I was at home I would go and have a look see as we live in the same town, and there is a prolific poster on here who lives not a stones throw away, go and have a look see 😎😎 and see what the problem is, just for the sanity of all of us 🙃🙃
Dont worry your socks off any more all problems solved, sometimes things are more of a problem than what you first think, bit like peaple, anyway as i said all sorted and i hope your sanity is all in tacked,
Grandad Kenny, thanks for your comment and yes problemm solved.
I though also jumped to the conclusion the cold water inlets non-return valve was sticking, but it appears even simpler than that!
Basis of the problem appears to be mis-information on how to and when tanks full, so more likely nothing wrong at all just needed correct procedure following and all would have been ok in the first place!
As for the confusion over this £100 extra if wrong gas connection, given that some more head scratching and just maybe got an answer?
That is if it's had a Henry burner module fitted with it's different stem connection, then that needing changing back to allow replacement Carver module to be fitted??
One other slim possible is the original batch of cascades had a screw in gas connection of which one quickly came loose and caused a fire!.That batch was then immediately modified under a recall, however on my experience quite a few were never done.
Logic I applied to that is if it's still there and been doing a job for 32years! you leave it to continue to do so, not charge £100 to fix what ain't broke!!
