Final two shots, show the finished job.

All that is needed is a good clean to get rid of the door marks, and a quick vac to get the sawdust...

Hi again fulabeer, as I said , this is a great job. I'll probably print off the pics from here. I hadn't thought about the spur, so Thanks for that also. Cheers, John.

Right! here are the last pics

Papa, i will email you the pics. What size do you want?

On to the first of the last pics...

Here i have covered the bolts and spacers at the bottom with plastic covers.

This will help make it easier to keep clean, and looks less obvious.

The two smaller buttons hide the screw that holds the front of the microwave.

Hi fulabeer, if you have them at around 800x600 pixels that will be fine.

Can't see the pics on here for some reason. Possibly a problem with the pic site!

cheers

Not sure why they are not showing for you.

When they do, they are at 800x600 already so just need copying and pasting.

I'm in Anglesey (Nant Newyd) until Sunday, so for any reason you have trouble getting the images, i will send them when i get back.

Thanks...Paul

Hi Paul, they are showing now, I think it was a glitch on my PC, had a few problems with it earlier and have now reset a lot of bits and bobs and deleted some of the cache etc and it is back on track, will start to download the pics and making up a worksheet using your descriptions on here as well.

BTW the vents look spot on!

Thanks!

We're back and the microwave was great.

We had so much more work(top) space that the caravan seemed bigger.

We didn't have any problems with the height of the microwave, but we were a little more careful with hot liquids!

Hi Fulabeer, looks great. Was thinking of doing my self  with Swift Charisma, but all the microwave units on sale state ventilation clearances. You had any issues? Is the ventilation requirements about proper food cooking or fire risk?

Hi

As far as i know, all microwaves have a stand off peg at the back to stop you backing it too near the rear wall etc.

This means you cannot exceed the clearance at the back.

The microwave actually has more space than you would think, as it is sat in a larger cupboard space.

Only the sides in the middle come near to the unit edges.

Even those have about 1" clearance.

Top and bottom has plenty of space, especially with Papas tip about fitting a top vent grill.

I think problems could occur if you tried fitting the microwave in a tight fitting cupboard. (ie the cupboard was the same size as the microwave).

The microwave only tends to be used for about 3 mins at a time, so again its not like having a oven on for hours.

Although the pictures make my microwave look big, it is really quite small. (approx 750 watt)

In the interest of other members, i will report back if i find ANY issues...
