Hi Simon,
Looking back, actually doing it was nowhere near as bad as i thought it would be, and ours was really desperate for such a newish kind of van. I think my front awning rails leaked as when i took them off, there was water underneath. Glued extremely well at the bottom and top, but the middle....the other areas were the toilet compartment, both the cassette bit and where you pour the pink stuff in. I still need to re seal the gas locker but since i finished the big jobs i've kept the caravan cover on when its not in use. I still have a small area where i need to replace the baton but its nothing compared to everything that has already been done. I never had any damp higher than the front light level at the front of the van, which tied in with the awning rail leaks and the window seals were all fine except for one of the small windows at the front and i wasnt sure if that was from the side or the front, so replaced and resealed etc.
Good luck with the work and if you get stuck trying to remove anything (those Avondale people certainly know how to hide screws!) then you'll find lots of help on here!
