I received a private message on my phone from someone yesterday regarding this repair. I was unable to answer at the time but I must have accidentally deleted the message as I can't find it now. If anyone would like me to email the photos to them please let me know. Alternatively, if anybody can help me post photos back onto this thread using some other means than photobucket I would be happy to do it.

Good news. You can now view all of the original photos on this thread by using Firefox web browser and the add-on 'photobucket embed fix'. You can also use Chrome web browser with an extension called "Photobucket Embedded Image Fix". Both work well and are completely FREE.
