help. a stone has chipped our front caravan window and left a 3inch crack. can this be fixed and if so how? not really wanting to go thro insurance as its £250 excess. donna

Several people seem to have suggested plastic welding kits after drilling a hole at each end of the crack to stop it spreading. Seems to me that if you can repair it this way and it's not too too obvious, that would be the way to go for the meantime, but I'm sure a replacement window would be the ideal (not something I can consider down here, so I make do)

where abouts on the window is it???

if you was to repair with a plastic repair or similar would you be able to then cover it with a sticker like a ukcs sticker or one of the many triangle stickers or is it slap in the middle of window ?
