Hi there, I have a '95 elddis wisp whose centre front window has been cracked in the top RH corner by a bum dealer near York where I live.
The window now leaks quite well, I wasn't sure where, but a trip to another more proffessional dealer meant I had to reoplace the whole front woodwork as it was rotten. On getting home, it still leaked! Now he says that since the window is cracked - even though it has been joined up with plastic glue, when tightening the window after opening it means that the frame is warping at he top hinge bar & letting water in.
Cure he says is a new window..£250 to you Sir!
Anyone any idea of how to sort it out without a new window.
Alternatively, anyone got contacts for 2nd hand window sources in Yorkshire or the north east?
cheers
Frank JB
