Hi all thanks for all your previous advice :D now i got my water sorted from adice from you lot :D but now my carver is working when i turn the hot tap on i get black / brown floaty bits in the sink is this a major problem ? many thanks lee

 i think they use costic to clean the beer pipes, but not %100 about that

No seriously, I'm just waiting on a new gas jet which should arrive in the post tommorow and then all should be well... but I won't know 100% until it's fitted.

On a general note seeing as this thread is about water heaters!!!, you really should run fridges or any gas/electric appliance on gas from time to time, your's had been at some time but not for years!!...Andy's...never

Thanks Gary, your a top man, we use the van every weekend, so i will use it on gas every other weekend. ( got to keep the wine chilled )

No, No, not that often, just two or three weekends a year will do, anyway going to fit jet in a minute cus DHL turned up at 5 this evening!!. Already been running on lecky and as cold as your mates so ring him and tell him he can fetch it in the morning.
