Firstly, I'm assuming that you have bare aluminium on your caravan that you wish to protect from corrosion.
Alocrom (or alodine) is widely used in the aerospace industry for providing corrosion protection to aluminium alloys. Being carcinogenic, it is a very hazardous substance and where I work, its use and approved personnel are very tightly controlled.
I'm not sure if it is possible for anyone to purchase without proper enviromental proceedures for disposal etc, but from research on the web, it appears quite expensive.
