just started to re seal all my rubbing strips awning rails seens as the weather has been nice !! bugger me it takes a lot longer than i thought lol !!!! removed the insert strip and all screws corroded so out came the angle grinder !! lots of white spirt and  rags and elbow grease !!!! new mastic strip new screws and a lot of cursing , new insert strip hey presto looks like brand new !!!! hard work but rewarding . looks like a long weekend ahead but will make my van look like new :D

Well done Leelandy  , although it does take sometime to do the reward of doing the job well is worth it

also the fact of saving myself aboat load of money lol the swift i had was to far gone for me to repair so i will be breaking it and many be having a go at a motor home conversion :S maybee lol or have a mad ebay session lol
