 seized brake adjusters, the combination of hub and drum is secured by a one shot nut. not a castleated nut and split pin, this shotnut has to be renewed at a Torque of 280nms. The hub has to be removed to rectify brake faults inside.This type of hub seems to be fairley common on caravans from 1991 onwards, has anyone else attempted this brake repair. the caravan / camping club are talking £250 just for the Torque spanner in their service leaflet.

 this shotnut has to be renewed at a Torque of 280nms. The hub has to be removed to rectify brake faults inside.

without this torque wrench it would not be worth starting the job yourself,just an after thought if you feel confident on brakes and repairs,you can  try to hire one.
