We have just purchased our very first caravan... woohoo!!!
It is a 1993 Fleetwood Colchester and is in lovely condition throughout. The only issue is with the glass doors for the cabinet in the toilet room. They have pins on each end corner to allow them to open & close without falling out but the pins at the bottom of each door have broken off.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we can fix/replace the parts to get them back on and working properly?
Thanx for both the links, they look v.handy. Unfortunately it looks like the broken part is part of the botton bracket on the glass door so I may need to find a supplier of the doors. Any ideas who may supply these?
I had exactly the same problem when I had my 1992 Fleetwood Colchester, I had to get new mirrors made as mine had none but these were only about £6.
I used these Hinges and they worked a treat, you can make the hole bigger to take the bush that comes with the hinge or just take the bush of and they fit nicely into the existing hole in the cabinet.
The push locks if you need them are available at any caravan shop.
Edit direct link they as hyperlink don't work perhaps they don't like them

------------- It's a bad plan that cannot be altered
Just seen the mention of Fleetwood Colchester. We have been waiting for Fleetwood to reply to my request through Cramlington Caravans. We need a front Storage Locker cover, if they do not come up trumps, any ideas please.
It would appear that unless you want to buy a new van or have one under warranty Fleetwood do not bother with the minions. Ours is out of their interest spectrum being a 1993. Breakers yards it is then.
Are all the main dealers the same with customers ?
That is great, I reckon that is the solution!!! Do you need to drill through the glass or do the screws on the brackets just clamp to the glass?? Thanx again!!

No Drilling req they are plastic screws that butt against the glass, I would order a few extra hinges as the screws are flimsy so you have spares also I used a piece of rubber cut from an old bike inner tube inside the hinges for a better grip also protects the glass.
Good luck and you are welcome
