It looks mostly like a case of neglect, or dodgy DIY, but I am sure that it is possible to get it all back in order if you have the will, the cash, and most of all the time. It would be a shame to see this van going to the knackers yard due to a lack of any of these, but it certainly seems like that you have the required enthusiasm!
Of course you will always have the fixed it club about if you need any help, keep the photos coming, and we will look out for your questions
I knew about the damp as it was a "donation" from a friend and i paid a grand total of diddly squat yes it was free even included the gas bottles regulator water pump aqua-roll waste container and full size awning
Have a look here , it shows just what can be fixed . I would say don't strip the entire caravan , try and fix one area at a time then move to the next , if you do strip the whole caravan out you will need to support the structure inside . Do make sure you cover the caravan to stop any more water getting in . It is difficult to say where to start because you probably need to replace the roof boards and this may envolve removing a lot of the fittings . You may be able to do one side complete ie remove all the fixtures and fittings on that side , fix the floor , ceiling , walls , then refit all the fittings . Hope the info helps you decide how to go about the repair , if you have questions The Fixed it Club will be here to answer them if we can .

Now that is what I call a Do-er-upper! If you are in it for the project, you can probably have great fun doing-it-up, great fun away next summer, then get all your cash back for both adventures!
As Wizard says, don't take on too much at once, or it could get you down, better to fix an area then move on to the next.
Well im in it for the project but next year it will be totally for pleasure as we will definatley be keeping it we used to have a 6 birth frame tent which we planned to get rid of this year to buy a trailer tent but then this came along so we just gonna skip out the trailer tent now and stick with the caravan lol although i might find myself purchasing another damp van when this one is finished just for the fun of it and to keep another van out of the big campsite in the sky
well picked up some mastic today 7 quid for a 5 metre roll so i can finally stop the water coming in through the roof vent maybe redo the other 2 roof vents while im at it you never know the numpty who 4 got the silicone on the rear roof vent might have bodged one of the other 2 roof vents up aswell
Good idea to do them all.......with the correct products of course. It is not a good idea to go anywhere near the outside of a caravan with silicone! Roll mastic or Sikaflex 512 caravan sealant is recommended as best.
