I am trying to lose some weight!!!!!

The heaviest single item in my rig is the awning poles for a Bailey Ranger 500/5. It is 5 y o Walker Esprit, including 2 extra roof supports.

Does anybody have the approximate comparison figures of how much weight I would save by switching to alloy supports?

We have Aluminium poles with our Dorema, I'm not sure if you can get fibreglass ones  which some manufacturers specify as an option.
