I have discovered damp in my Avondale Sandmatin and its exstensive around the door and the main wood structure has completely crumbled, It looks as if it is comeing via the awning rail I feel confident enough to tackle the job since reading other peoples similar problems what I would like to know is 1) Where can I purchase 3ml marine ply and 2) How difficult is it to remove internal fittings such as cubboards etc, Any helpful advice would be appreciated....Thank yo

Hi Redvers , welcome to UKCS , the cupboards can sometimes come out fairly easily and other times they can be a pain , have a good search for hidden fixings , they sometimes have plastic caps covering them . Some cupboards have fixings coming down thro the roof spars these are a real pain , the best i can come up with for these is to saw thro them ( side a hacksaw blade between the cupboard and the ceiling board ) , the only thing you'll have to over come then is how your going to refix the cupboard to the ceiling . If you do a search for wall boards ( see search button above ) you should come up with plenty of posts telling you where you can buy online . Here's one  Olearys ( look near the bottom of the page ) .
If you need advice when doing your damp repairs just ask The Fixed it Club members will be glad to advise you .
