Hi John , although i haven't removed a wheel arch i would have thought that there must be fixings for the top of the arch somewhere , have you looked on the inside of the arch ?
Have'nt removed caravan wheel arches but as wizard say's would think they must be held at the top some how.
Perhaps some sort of plastic clip's.
Would suggest removing visible screws, then gently wiggling the arches to try to see where they are fixed and then look for any other visible means of fixing.
I'm in the process (hopefully) of making one in GRP by taking a moulding off our remaining one. Had a blow-out last year and lost one Had a shedful of grief trying to buy one so it's a diy job. Results (if it goes ok) will be posted. Your question: The wheelspat on our ABI had two screws at either side of the bottom. It was held against the body by three small, hook-on brackets. (flat pieces of plastic that slot into three 'L' shaped brackets on the van. I think the van fittings are pop-rivetted on. Simple matter for me with our van, removed the two screws and slid the spat up. Easy as that. There may be mastic between the rubber edge of the spat and the van. Just slide up and ease off. Hope it helps, Ray

if you take the two screws out at the bottom of the wheel arch it should just pull out of the alloy rail when they were built the only thing that held them in was the two screws and the top was held in by the rail thats was it...hope this helps .....
