I have a 1999 Lunar lexon with an end kitchen, can anyone tell me where the 240volt switch is to run the carver water heater, I have found 2 switches 1 by the main switch board and 1 by the kitchen diner but there are no labels on either, the manual makes no mention of how to switch on the heater only how to run it on gas.

help please Martin Stourport-on-Severn

Hi Mart1n7 , welcome to UKCS , are you sure your heater runs on mains and is not just a gas operated one . If mains you should be able to follow the mains wiring from the heater , the switch should be close to the heater .

By 99 all but very few vans were fitted with the gas/electric version and as said you should be able to follow the wire from the elements white plastic box cover sticking out of the insulation on the inboard end of the tank.

Often the switch is just by the heater at floor level, if not it's commonly sited next to the gas sides control switch.
