Hi - thank you for asking.  I don't understand what happened with it... the pictures that I took clearly showed wet patches.  About one week later they disappeared totally and have never reappeared!  I know that there is obviously some damp in there somewhere because of the patches, but it kind of just went away!  I can smell a slight smell of damp inside one of the cupboards though. 

I have a friend who has offered to come and help me if possible, but to be honest at the moment with no further signs I'm just going to leave it for now.  It's an old van anyway, and if I get another season out of it this year I will be more than happy!

Hi, why don't h.g.v. wagons running at 44 tons change the tyre pressures when empty?.

Hi,

My S-Max handbook states that pressures should be increased from 36-46 when fully loaded.

I tend to run at higher pressures most of the time, 42-43 seems fine.

Yep, nearly every time, my normal is 34, when towing between 44-46 depending on if we have the awning and other bits in the boot, and we check the van every time its towed.

If ts a weekend with only a jaunt to the shops I dont bother letting them down, only if its more than a couple of days.

And I beleive its more dangerous for under pressure than over (although over can affect braking, and tyre wear)under inflation also affects braking, and tyre wear, but also an increased risk of overheating tyres, and tyres off rims etc.
