 how often do you have to reaseal your windows ?

 we have been doing ours, van is 17yrs old some of the rubbers just fell when we took the plastic trim off & the staples where  rusted to nothing, how long will it last untill they need to be reseales again, this is the first time we have ever done any work on caravan and have been using the links for step by step guides, but just wondered how long before they needed doing again

Hi Andrea , i would expect your seals to last atleast another 17 years , weather your caravan will last that long i don't know , but your seals will be ok  , keep up the good work and good on you for having a go  , if you want to look after your seals use Autoglym's Bumper Care on them , see here . I tried it on my window seals and it's really good stuff , i don't get any more problems with my windows sticking to the rubbers .

Hopfully not for a long time we did ours 4 year ago still ok so
