I am sorry you feel that, Eileen, we were all trying to help - I did suggest a few posts back that you contacted the manufacturers for advice regarding removing the lockers. and frankly I felt that you were being rude and ungrateful in your replies.

I agree with Rizzo, you did not mention your son's age before, and at 12 I also think he is most likely too big to be using a bunk bed as they are only really meant for smaller children.

Sounds like it would worth asking Swift about size/weight limits for occupants of the bunk beds when you contact them for the advice as to whether it is safe to remove the cupboards.

another idea is to buy a small cushion and a very strong velcro strip.stick one side of the velcro under the cupboard over his head and the other onto the cushion.this way you can remove the cushion after he gets up.

ok so is their any one out there that has done away with the dinnett and put fixed bunks in there instead as my husband is quite handy. i know it can be done but need to know how. as ew dont use the dinnett to eat in as we go out side or at the front.
