I am going to run my 12 volt tv off a seperate battery with heavy duty insulated cable.  The cable will be approximately 1 metre long.  Which battery  will serve the purpose best and keep  a longer charge.  Diesel Leisure or normal Car battery.  Thank you

run cable to a socket 12v tv cig plug.if you cannot find cable use part of a jump lead set.red and black.
