 just a update on my front window damage due to storms at site in cornwall. we have put it in place and covered wirh duck tape,as i worried about wet, i surched around on the net, and got some white plumbing tape from b.& q. which seems to do the job so i can use van while waiting for new window. my vanman repairer has ordered one? and will cost me £350 with fitting! as we are o a p 's, we cant do it ourselves. should be about 3/4 weeks   at least we can use it! joan

cant you claim for the repair off your insurance?? your policy should covef for damage surely

 cant you get a secnd hand 1 from a caravan dismantler and get that fitted ??

I would say claim your insurance if you have insurance that is.

I know there is a lot of people out there with older vans that don't bother with insurance.
