Hi all , i've had a Fixed it Club member ask me for help , but i don't have the answer .
Could anyone else please advise , thanks Wizard .

The Question .

the problem now is wallcoating I am unable to match existing pattern so have had to go for a paper backed vinyl the problem is getting an adhesive to stick to the original coating as now we will have to do whole van so it matches, any ideas, tried most pastes but nothing holds.

Try the white woodworking adhesive (PVA/EVA) HERE.

Dilute with water about 50/50 and brush on.

Hi all,

I work in construction and would very rarely, if at all, use PVA in an area that may be subject to water, damp or high humidity. I would reccomend the use of SBR which is similar to PVA but water resistant. Try this link: http://www.everbuild.co.uk/products/23,Building-Products/24,PVA-and-SBR-Bonding-Agents/1

and compare the two materials. Both PVA & SBR are available from good DIY stores and / or builders merchants. If you do chose to use SBR please download and read the data sheet and follow the instructions.

Sorry all / wizard,

heads shot away, read your post assumed was damp but don,t know why,  its been a long day!

PVA is obviously ok in areas that are not subject to damp etc.
