Hi, just found out that my poor old van has the dreaded damp problem. The damp seems to be around the front window only and looks as though it was via the rubber seal.I am a reasonable DIYer and was wondering if this was a task I could take on as I think a proffesional repair would just not be cost effective any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
hi give it a go . we are doing the same with our van but its at the back. its the first time we have done it . but look at the links on here where its been done to give you an idea it can be done good luck with it .
Hiya Kevin, I did mine a few years ago on my first van, not very difficult just time consuming and a bit cramped if you have to work from inside the van. I say give it a go.
I started in the same position as you, and had a go thanks to Wizard and the others, so I created the website below, just to add my experience to te melting pot!!
If you enjoy this type of thing, there is nothing more satisfying than sorting it out yourself.
Hi Kevin , give it a go , you'll have the Fixed it Club members on here to advise you all the way , do ask as many questions as you like , we're here to help .
