I could do with some advice on this as I am not very clued up on electrics.

I have just fitted a new battery after the old one went flat.

I have power to my mover from my battery, when the electric hookup is disconedted I can see a light on on the mover and it even works, LOL.

I have power to the van from electric hookup.

But I cant get power to the van from the battery.

I have a 95 Bailey Ranger.

I'n not sure if I have given enough information to enable people to give me advice but feel free to ask questions, I might even be able to answer some of them.

Is there a 12v master switch which has been switched off?

On your power panel look for a switch that says Car Van ( it may also have a middle position that is Off , switch it to Van . If that doesn't sort it see if you have a switch by your battery meter , then after trying both those start checking fuses . There may be a fuse close to the battery , just follow the Red battery cable and if you have one you'll find it . Also check for fuses near your battery charger .

Thanks wizzard.

I have done all those things apart from the fuses that may be in with the wires.

I have checked all the panel fuses the switch is on van not middle or car and it is on 12v or the mover would not work.

I guess it must be a fuse/swich that is unique to 12v as I am fine on mains and my mover works.  I just have to find the little bugger.

One question if I may, I am still new to this so forgive me if its a stupid one, when on mains the meter marked battery meter is that showing the battery or the charge comming from the mains?

The meter should be all the way into the green when on mains , this is showing that the battery is being charged by the battery charger . If it's not reading ( or in the red ) then the battery is either not being charged or is disconnected ( ie blown fuse ) , is your meter needle in the green ( note you may need to press a switch by the meter dial to test the battery ) .
I've been looking at a wiring diagram for a 2002 Ranger and it shows the fuses are located with the relay housing ( don't know if that's much help ).

Yea its in the green.

I'm into my second glass of wine now so I'll leave the fuse hunt until tommorow.

On our Bailey (Pageant) the meter reads when the master switch is set to on. It reads 13v-14 (approx) when the charger is on, when running on battery it gives the actual voltage.

The mover operates independently, as when using it the master switch in the van is normally off. Sounds like you have a fuse blown.
