hi can anybody advise me what paint to buy for outside the caravan we are new to caravans so it would be great if anybody could help thanks jue and col

Years ago when I repainted a Cheltenham Fawn I used yacht paint & it lasted very well & looked quite good     denisc

Have a look here The little red Sprite was painted using a roller and Dulux exterior paint, very lightly sanded the van first to give the paint a key to stick to.

I personally have not used the paint recipe in the article but do know of several who have with results lasting well over 10 years and more.

On our last caravan I used some aluminium garage door paint on the roof, again applyed with a smooth roller, the overall finish was very good and did survive a bit of scraping from tree branches unlike the cheap homebase we used t a few years earlier.
