Please help a Damsell in distress!

I recently purchased a Swift Challenger 1991 440/4 Caravan.  While trying out the Caravan at the weekend I noticed after refilling my AquaRoll that the Carver Crystal Pump is staying on constantly even though all taps are off.  I dont see any leaks and it doesn't look as though the water is not being used up in the AquaRoll.

My Uncle says he thinks it has something to do with the pressure and asked me to adjust a pressure screw to try and resolve the problem.   I have no idea what he means by this as I cant see any adjustment screw. 

I have disconnected the pump completely and draind the whole water system.  Still the Pump Light stays on.

I had a similar problem with my Truma water pump. I messed around with the pressure valve to no avail. After lots of head scratching I found out the problem was debris in the aquaroll had been sucked past the inlet valve and wedged allowing water to run back into the aquaroll. The back pressure kept the pump restarting. After removing the twig all was well.

First you need to check which system you have , do you have any wires going to the base (underneath) of the taps , if you do you have a microswitch system .
Or does the back of your water pump connection socket ( on the caravan ) have a large plastic screw , like this
If you do you have a pressure switch system .

Many thanks to you all for your comments and advice.  They are all greatly appreciated. We eventually managed to source the problem - faulty microswitch.  Now we just need to work out whether the sink lifts out or if the casing has to come off.  Any ideas?

Some taps have the micro-switches in the top part of the tap so you might not need to remove the sink at all , i would try to pick a dealers brains as to how you replace the switch or post on here what type / make of tap it is and hopefully someone be able to tell you how to change it .
