All,
We have a 2005 Ranger, we have found some damp around the front window. We found the water was getting in though a .5 inch long crack in the front panel. Unfortunately the warranty is not transferable to a new owner so I do not think that it will be covered, I will be checking later on. So I have a few questions.
A small area has gone spongy around the affected area. But the damp meter shows a larger area around to be damp, around 20 – 40 % damp, spreading out about a foot, then it returns to normal.
- Will the none spongy areas dry out.
- To fix the area I will need to change the wall board that is affected.
- How do you cut the wall board that is not spongy, in a neat straight line.
- Does the wall board come with the vinyl covering all ready on it. Or does the vinyl come separately.
- Where do I get the wall board or vinyl from.
All the best.
Peter.
