Hi all

I've recently bought a Sterling Rapier 1996 it has had a Fiaam on board water tank fitted. I want to remove it, but it appears there is an inline pressure switch. I currently have a Whale pump with pressure switch fitted. can i remove the inline switch without any problems.

 

P.S. does anyone want an on board tank?

Any particular reason for removing it? If the set up is simmilar to our Swift then you just set up as if you intend filling the tank but there is an isolating valve that you turn to prevent the tank filling.The external pump is then activated by the opening of the taps rather than running constantly to fill the tank.

Our Abbey has an onboard tank. It's great .Once inboard and external hogg are full  it's only a wee top up to the external water hogg you need to do. No more being caught short (excuse the pun) first thing in the morning.
