hi i wonder if anyone can help i need to change my taps over as i have a nut thats cracked and leaking my type of tap a nozzle on a bar in the middle looking at it it was installed before the sink was fitted is there an easy way of doing a swap as room is limited and i have hands like bunchs of bananas thanks alan
i had to take the sink out in mine wasnt a big job really the only hard bit was undoing the jubilee clips on the hoses under the sink but there isnt an easy way of doing it i dont belive took me about 45 mins job all done
i have 4 screws holding mine in place in each corner on the actual sink undo them and it should slide out one way you can use a set of pliers to undo the hose clips a bit then turn them so they are facing you hope this helps what year is your lunar?
should be the same sink then there is 4 plastic covers on the screws holding the sin in place pop the bit out the middle and there will be 4 philips head screws inside undo and slide left i think and it will come out
if they are whale as pictures, there are four caps (6) covering the corner screws, these need a sharp point to get out.once the screws are out the taps can be lifted up carefully along with the pipes.if you have a shower fitting bracket, tie string onto the unit and fix it to the bracket.this way you can work without holding all the lot,as it want to go back in.mine was leaking at the T JOINT.new washers sorted that out. when refitting DO NOT over tighten the screws or the unit will be loose after.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
