Hi all,
I've recently connected up the water and found out that the water inlet was damaged. So I fitted a new one and reconnected all the water but although the water seems to be getting into the system, it will only come out of the taps as a trickle.
I've followed the instructions on how to set up the system in the manual to the letter, three or four times but still no luck.
The system just doesn't fill up enough to pressurise.
Any suggestions
Thanks

-------------

First you need to work out if you have a pressure switched system , look underneath the taps , do you have wires going to the taps ?
When you turn on the taps do you hear the water pump running ?
or does it start then stop then start again .

Yes I have a pressure switched system.

I have to switch on the pump from the caravan's main panel first to get the pump to run .

If I turn the pressure switch completely clockwise   (closed ) the pump will run

If I turn the pressure switch anti-clockwise until it clicks the pump go off. Then when I turn the cold or hot tap ON the pump does not start up. I have to close up the pressure switch a little to start the pump

So the taps don't turn on or turn off the pump when the taps are opened.

The pump only works when you close the pressure switch.

Ok set the pressure switch so the pump doesn't run , then fully open a tap , now adjust the pressure switch so the pump starts and runs without clicking off , now close the tap , the pump should now turn off ( there may be a click now and then where the pump is just maintaining pressure , but it's nothing to worry about ) ( if it clicks alot with the tap off turn the pressure adjustment switch a bit more  anti-clockwise .
Let us know how you get on .

Thanks Wizard, this has solved one of my problems. The taps are now turning the pump on when I turn them on but unfortunately I'm still not getting enough water out of any of the taps or the toilet. It's just dribbling out.
