We have renewed both plugs today but still happening.

Anybody help us please?

I assume you mean that your caravan navigation lights suddenly fail?  Is it because the indicator warning buzzer/lamp still functions that you are sure the indicators are working?

You need to establish whether the fault lies before or after the connections between the car and caravan (12N/12S plugs and sockets).  How long does it take to get the lights working again? For example, if you disconnect and reconnect immeciately, do they come back on?  Or do you have to wait for any period of time?

Without a little more detail, it is difficult to suggest how you should start any diagnostic tests.

Bertie.

Indicator lights are still working visually checked.

If the plug is pulled out and then plugged back in the lights work straight away.

the caravan is a LMC Munsterland and the car a Seat Alhambra we have had the same car/caravan for the past two years with no probs

Sorry if this is a little sketchy but being female forgot some of the major details

Yes i agree with Micheal we have problems with our sockets if they have not been used for a while. Some times one side works and sometimes all or nothing.Clean all the contacts on both sides with some emery cloth and a quick spray of WD40 will keep them clean.

i have found that the rubber covers to prevent water into the sockets actually hold water sometimes because of there shape.

I agree i used the covers when i first started with the van but found them full of water and all the pins were corroded and it had even filled the back of the sockets so all the connections were rusty.
