We have recently developed a leak from one of the skylights on our caravan and don't have much of an idea how to go about fixing it or what to use.Would really appreciate any tips and/or advice on the best methods and equipment required, how long is it likely to take to complete and can it all be done from inside the caravan?

Thanks Jackie.

make sure the skylight is still secure.

a small leak was the only symptom we had, before losing a skylight whilst travelling, because the plastic had degraded over time.

Hi Jackie, if you are wanting to re-seal the existing skylight, See Here to see what is involved. So you don't feel rushed allow a morning to do it and you will have to gain access to the outside to break the seal to the roof and clean the old sealant off. Usually a set of step ladders are all that's needed to get to it.

Thanks to everyone for all your help, I'm sure it will be very useful when we go back to our caravan and attempt to fix it - hopefully it will only take a morning!!

 Thanks again,

                      Jackie .
