We have a Bailey pageant which we like apart from the washbasin in the bathroom, it's very poky. shaving is O.K. until you try to rinse off the soap then you get water everywhere. Does anyone think it can be changed for a bigger one? Bailey weren't a lot of help.

My friend had a Pageant Bordeaux and we fitted a bigger sink in that

We just needed to cut out the hole bigger and inset the sink using the same tap and drain

C A K tanks do a good range and we got ours from there and fitted it on the campsite!!

John, Thank You, this is the company whose name I couldn't remember and I'll be near them in April!, The only prob is the vanity unit, the sink fits the top exactly and it might mean changing the lot. And Al, you can fit a bath, I saw one in a vintage van. It fits in the floor and has a lid on it. Filling and emptying it might be a pain though.

John.

I used to like the old tip up basins

In our 1983 Abbey Gt 214 we had such a sink and you could use it while showering so that you collected the water at the right temp, you could wash down with it then lift the whole sink out and swill off the soap before finally showering with cleaner water

What a good idea! We had a Compass rallye 1991 with a large tip-up sink that saved a great deal of room in the bathroom.

Hired a 5th wheel in Canada. That had a bath in it. Towcar was a Ford truck though. Maybe a change of rig?

I am going to take out the small sink and measure the size of the aperture in case a larger sink wont go anyway. Does anyone know what the top of the vanity unit is made of ?, it looks like MDF with white laminate on. I'll probably bring the whole thing home with me and the dimensions as I have a brill neighbour who is a chippy.Maybe he can make a top.
