Hi Folks,
this seems to be a regular request as I get these enquiries all the time through the company I work for. Most caravans seem to use a Camloc gas strut, which has a code number on the side of it. The most regular one used is a SWF6P3200239P3L-35N.
If you try talking to Components Direct www.comdir.co.uk they are Camloc distributors and can usually find a matching gas strut to do the job, or at least a variable force version that will fit..
It seems very strange to me that the caravan spares people do not stock these products and don't know where to get them. Who are the main caravan spares people? Are they aware of Components Direct and the products they stock?
It would be interesting to hear any comments on this subject.
