Hi there Wizard

it would be easy to buy it from homebase or B&Q, does it have to be laminated, or any specific type of wood? im guessing 3mm thick is ok? how would i attach the wood to the wall, no more nail?

thanks for the help

It doesn't have to be laminated , you could stick on wall paper . The wood you want is 3mm plywood , you'll probably find the thinest you can get is 3.6mm , this will be ok , but i would try to avoid going thicker .
Stick the wall boards with Evogrip ( non solvent type ) from B&Q .
To be honest the caravan wall board will give you a really nice job if you can get a match .

hi there, new to this site so here goes.

the best advise i can offer from working with a PRO is, use wallboard available from O,LEARYS at beverly near  HULL, maybe somewhere closer though not sure ,have only used O.LEARYS.

cant realy comment on usual plywood, though wallboard is only coated ply!!!

some  adhesives used by the trade are from LEASUREPLUS { easy found on the web } as it forms part of the vans structure,

it comes in 2 parts and, takes trial and error to judge how much to mix for what you can fit in what time.

there is a certain amount of time to possition the board before it goes off, again trial and error.a nice even coating with a spreader, a piece of scrap plastic does nice and, make sure the area you are fitting to is clean of all loose stuff.make

sure you clean off any surplus glue from tools etc,

YOU WONT SHIFT IT AFTER ITS GONE OFF  GUARANTEED !!!!

hope this helps.

Hi, are you sure you have completely removed the old boards? because in your pictures they look like they are still in place and therefore probably still hiding a lot off rotten timber frame work behind them.
