Help

I need to reseal my window hanger rails. What is the best mastic to use ?  I was looking on Halfords site at the Carafax range. Has anyone used Halfords Carafax IDL99 Sealants ?  At £1 it looks great value but will it stand up to the job ? Or would it be better to go for a more trusted and tried sealant.

I suppose the best is also the easiest, so that would be mastic on a roll as its so easy to use with no mess.

Tubes of IDL are so messy i hated using them so always pted for the roll type.
