Last week my front windows were getting hazed, so I removed a plug from each of the 3 front windows to allow the heat to dry the window cavity, this is the first time any have been removed on my 5 year old Avonadale Rialto.

One came out, one got destroyed getting it out and the other one after breaking around the edges fell into the cavity!!! After 30 min of rocking the window to get the plug in the hole I have managed to remove the one that fell inside.

I am looking to get a few or a pack of 10 say to replace the now missing ones and have a few spares, anyone any idea where replacement window plug can be bought from? Are they all the same size? Same Colour?

Steve.

We tried to remove some plugs on one of our windows but were not able to do so what did you use to remove them ?  may decide to leave well alone if you can not get replacements.

It was tricky, I tried a knife then pliers of a multi tool.

Tips!
*Watch you don't scratch the window or slip with tools!
*Do not destroy the lip around the plug or it will end up between the windows.
*Don't pull on the bit in the middle of the plug it will just snap out and also ruin the air tight seal

Also....
As I said I did get one in between the windows, you then have to remove the window and play a game tilting the window trying to get plug near to the hole, in my case I found the best option was to then get a needle with the plug sitting on top and gently push against the outer window to stab the plug, I then tried a few tweezers etc. but found the best thing was some narrow locking forceps in the first aid box. Make sure you really do have hold of it and gently tease it out after removing the needle!

Back to original question....
Where can I get them?
Mine appear to be a smoky grey colour.

For information I have found some very expensive replacement window plugs.

I phoned leisureshopdirect.com and they had a few of them in light grey smoke and dark grey smoke. So I ordered a few... Think they were about £1.20 each plus £2.99 P&P!!!
