Not sure if I can post the details here, but just wanted to give a big heads up to the company that came and serviced our van.

I originally called him out to a broken tap which was sorted very inexpensively and with great workmanship. (Bit of a long story but ABI manufacturing fault. Ordered a new one from ABI and same fault. I then decided against an ABI one and chose one on ebay. Emailed him the details and he advised it wouldn't fit, and then sought out another that would not only fit, but also cheaper. He certainly didn't need to go to all that trouble)

So I then had him service the van. A great price (£140) and was a great record to keep. (Every area of van was checked with damp meter and all numbers written on, so if done yearly you can keep up to date on its status).

There were a few bits needed doing but these were do-able by us - eg new break away cable, new hose for gas (didn't realise pipes were dated and ours was 10 years old) and even fitted a new bulb in bathroom FOC!

Also one of our lights is a bit "iffy" - turns on when it feels like it. We guessed it would all need replacing but seems its just a connector.

Anyway, if anyone wants his details drop me a PM, unless anyone knows if I am allowed to put his details on here?

Hannah
