hi all

 have 615 quaser battery died first time out this year. replaced in with nice shiney new one lasted 3 trips gone flat again seems like it is charging on the gauge then all of a sudden drops to 9.5 volts /10 volts any ideas guys.

Sounds very much like a duff charger in your van. What voltage doe's it show whilst charging? Should be something like 13+ volts.

not really sure it looks good on the gauge then just drops off have'nt check with volt meter yat will do this weekend, do you know where charger unit is located and is there any cut off switches ect.

Sorry don't know your van but the charger should have a mains breaker fitted in your consumer box. If you have an amp meter that goes upto about 10 amp you might be able to put that in line to see it charging. Another thing is to switch on a 12 volt light then switch on the mains and see if the bulb gets brighter which would indicate it is charging.

Hello Web 034 what year is your Lunar Quasar? We have an 2008 FB and the mains/12v unit has gone faulty in fact it's a puzzler it seem's ok on main's as a transformer all 12v appliance's work, try to run the van off the leisure battery and it blows the 15amp fuse so without ehu we have no 12v power van still under warranty so hopefully it will be sorted.

Ps mains unit on ours is under the right hand front seat as you stand inside looking at the front of the van.

consumer unit mcb seems fine all fuses seem fine checked with meter can't find charger unit really doing my head in wonder if has built in trip or fuse reset? looked all round the consumer unit followed wires from battery still can't find wonder if may in consumer unit HELP.

Hi I have same problem not charging battery new leisure battery all fuses good tested charge nothing going to batt is this built in to consumer unit on 2009 luna quaser 462 can I fit alternate charger any help would be appreciated
