You can still easily fit a Carver mk1 Fanmaster or even the Truma Ultraheat system at a push

In which case as you already have the fan I can set you up with a slightly secondhand ultraheat?

Take a bit of time to fit and the fire will need taking out and refitting correctly later but overall it's far from rocket science

just put one in mine took abaout 2,1/2 hours to fit,got the bits off ebay and cheap.

Looking at the examples, the two sales are of two parts that should be one, neither is any good on it's own unless you already have the other, having said that, £20 odd quid for them both is a real bargain should they work that is?!

I buy off ebay all the time, I know exactly what I'm looking at and know what it's worth, sadly I get too many phone calls from people who do the same with no such knowledge and end up paying me to put it right.

I contacted the person I got them from,and he said the fire was from his friends 2004 van (rounded front model) that was damaged in a collision with a lorry,and was working perfectly before being taken out,but he only wanted the burner unit in the fire so put the other items on Ebay,I think he put them on in 2 auctions hopeing to get more money,a friend who is a registered sparky tested them for me,and installed the 240v connections and it works great on all three settings,I have seen just the little three heat settings control unit on Ebay go for aver £25 so I took a gamble as I thought I could get my money back alone on that if it did not all work,on a chilly night if I set it to 500w it keeps the van loverly and warm,but not too hot.if timtheenchanter gets one from you I dont think he will dissapointed with it.

I do know that from Truma UK the heater element alone is £168.50.
